This girl

Because it is so often all about her brother.  Because he is the super noisy one and she is a tiny quiet sweet little pea.  That is why this one is all about this girl. She is the funniest little pea. She loves to dance.  And skip.  And jump on trampolines. She loves to colour.  On paper, chairs and on walls. She thinks blowing raspberries on tummies is the most hilarious thing. She is used to her big brother being terribly rough and hurting her.  But every now and again she will get a really good set of teeth into him. She thinks Iggle Piggle and Upsy Daisy are just the best.  Except for the Pontipines.  They are even better.  Because they say "mee mee meeee". She thinks dollies are pretty great.  She feeds them and pushes them in prams and cuddles them.  She is a real girly girl. She has a wicked temper on her.  If she doesn't get her way she certainly lets you know. She has a bit of a thing for toothbrushes.  Her favourite part of the day is when we clean

Not quite the day I had planned

This week things took a little turn for the unexpected. We had Nanna Freddy & Poppy Mick staying with us when Ol developed a bit of a cold. Being the meanie mum I wasn't really falling for his big forced cough and his claims of "I'm siiiiiiiiiick!".  It was only on Tuesday morning when he ran up the hallway and started wheezing that I finally agreed to let him off the hook from going to swimming. When Eve and I came home from our swimming lessons (and a lovely coffee with a good friend) it became apparent that poor old Ol wasn't in a particularly good way.  Plans for a shopping day were shelved.  Doctor's appointments were made instead. Ol and I left Eve at home with Nanna Freddy and pottered up to the doctor where I fully expected to be either told that he was fine or to be given a script for the obligatory course of antibiotics. Not so... After waiting the standard forty minutes or so we were ushered into the doctor who listene
