I promised you more Bali photos!  Here are our two little cherubs with some stone pals at Bebek Bengil. This was our lovely private pool at Alam Shanti in Ubud.  This is the second time we have stayed at this amazing boutique villa and we were not disappointed.  If you ever go to Ubud definitely look it up - if you can get a booking! Ol sampling the young coconut.  He was so keen to try it for days, but not surprisingly he wasn't impressed once he took a sip. This trip to Bali we did so many different things that we had never done before.  One of the things was going to the Waterbom, a truly amazing water park.  We had our own private gazebo (that they even delivered beer to!) and the kids had the best day being little daredevils.  Ol was such a brave boy, going on all the big watersides, with a lifejacket on.  His favourite was a toss up between a really steep and twisty one that was completely dark the whole way and a she...

Well I think it is fair to say that it has been a while since the last blog.  There has just been SOOOO much going on that I haven't known where to start.   The last time you heard from us we were in Bali, so some more photos from there would be a good start.  But it was mother's day here last week so I just had to share with you my lovely day first.   In theory I was allowed to sleep in but in reality in meant that I could lay in the comfort of my bed while I listened to the kids trying (but failing) to be quiet.  Just before 8am (that is a sleep in around here) my two lovely little darlings came in covered in little heart stickers. I received some lovely presents including Lego!!!! Most mums would probably find that a bonkers present but for me it is just perfect.  Especially because it is something that Ol and I can share together.  Well sort of.  I didn't want to share all of it with him.  Here is a pic of me not sharing it...

Yes we are in Bali. Again. We can't help it. We LOVE the place. In typical fashion we headed up to Ubud for the first three nights as our 'decompression chamber' so we could get into holiday mode and ease into the madness of Bali. We loved returning to Alam Shanti but did notice that Ubud was getting a bit too touristy, what with the introduction of Starbucks! The kids only took a day to get with the difference in time schedule, thanks to an intensive week prior attempting to adjust their sleep clocks. The first morning we were all up waiting nearly two hours for breakfast to be delivered but after that all was fine. The next three nights were spent at Sanur, a place we love for its prime beachfront position and calm ocean. This time had been mainly splashing around in the pool and building sand castles on the beach. Because it is so often all about her brother.  Because he is the super noisy one and she is a tiny quiet sweet little pea.  That is why this one is all about this girl. She is the funniest little pea. She loves to dance.  And skip.  And jump on trampolines. She loves to colour.  On paper, chairs and on walls. She thinks blowing raspberries on tummies is the most hilarious thing. She is used to her big brother being terribly rough and hurting her.  But every now and again she will get a really good set of teeth into him. She thinks Iggle Piggle and Upsy Daisy are just the best.  Except for the Pontipines.  They are even better.  Because they say "mee mee meeee". She thinks dollies are pretty great.  She feeds them and pushes them in prams and cuddles them.  She is a real girly girl. She has a wicked temper on her.  If she doesn't get her way she certainly lets you know. She has a bit of a thing for toothbrushes. ...
